This nationally acknowledged event, hosted by the Center for Leadership Education, supplies an opportunity for college kids to take a novel idea or progressive expertise and develop a marketing strategy primarily based around it. Starting with a concept, students build an understanding of their target market, analyze potential rivals, craft an efficient market entry strategy, and current their plans to business professionals and venture capitalists. The last presentation, held on the Homewood campus, draws teams from all divisions of the college. The competitors showcases the talent of students as they present business plans developed over the course of the 12 months. Each team provides a refined seven minute presentation adopted by eight minutes of questions from a panel of judges compromised of enterprise capitalists, entrepreneurs and alumni.
